chrono.gifThe Bernard family’s history is firmly rooted in the traditional vineyards of Leynes and has been involved in wine production for several generations, spanning more than two centuries (« De Père en Fils depuis 1803 »): Jean Bernard (1768/1833) who started the filiations; followed by Antoine (1803), Jean (1837/1927) Philippe, René, Victoire, and today Jean Bernard again (see the genealogy).

Jean Bernard is always willing to share his knowledge of wines and vast experience. He resides at the Château with his wife Marie-Edith and his 3 sons: Philippe, Vincent and Germain. The Bernard family has succeeded in establishing and maintaining their own vineyards that surround the centuries-old château, where they have made their home. Using the years of expertise acquired in the wine sector, Jean Bernard is dedicated and invested in producing high-quality wines (Saint-Véran, Bourgogne, Beaujolais-Villages…) that you will have the pleasure to taste.
